I apologize for having been so scarce. I've been so busy with His Majesty and with research and god-knows what else I do all day that I feel completely cut off from recent events. I know that there was a festival yesterday and I wanted to go, but His Majesty had disappeared into the halls of the Academy and it took all day to find him. Heeeika, one day you will snap my nerves! Are you angry at me? You have been so quiet.

Can anyone inform me as to recent events?

I am so grateful that His Majesty has the opportunity to see some of these texts! Histories and sciences from so many worlds reside in these tomes. Now, if only I could get lucky enough with the first book I take from the shelf--

Quite suddenly, I cannot seem to stop sneezing!

Ah, what a day that was. I hadn't even time to contemplate on yesterday's curse (Heika! How could I have forgotten you???) before I was caught in a wild goose chase with those giant plants. My thanks go out to Agatsuma-san for subduing them with his snow magic. The plants fell asleep for awhile, and seemed quite different when they came to. They chose seats in the Academy and began playing a round of Go Fish. How amazing, to think that two games so similar could exist between dimensions! Granted, there are some basic differences between Go Fish and Go Kotsugyozoku, but we were still able to have a fun game!

Really, once they'd calmed down, the plants are quite lovely. They seem very well taken care of. I gave them a bit of water and sent them on their way once the game was done. I hope they live long and prosper in the name of Shinou Heika.

How strange. I can't quite put my finger on it, but people are acting strangely again. Perhaps there is a consistent factor in this city that is causing these ailments.

In other news, I received a strange coupon from a lady on the street today. I thought perhaps that I could exchange it for food, because I am nearly out of money, but no one accepted it. Perhaps I should make it a habit to carry a larger sum of money with me at all times. Back home, I always ate my meals with---

I am interested in living at the academy. I believe someone already lives there, but I do not want to intrude in someone else's home--Does anyone know who lives there?

Ahh, never have I been so glad to be released from the confines of a curse. To think that I spoke with such a foul potty mouth--His Majesty would be so disappointed!

In any case, the past two days of information gathering have come up fruitless enough that I must resort to a more permanent place of residency than the alley between buildings 8 and 9. I would like to live in a fairly quiet building near a source of information such as a library--it must be conspicuously void of scientists. Which building would you recommend?
